About the Owner

Andy Baxter is a medical exercise specialist, post rehab conditioning specialist and personal trainer with nineteen years experience, owning and operating facilities in New York, California, and Oregon. He hold certifications from the Health and Fitness Institute at California State Hayward, the American Senior Fitness Association, and the American Association of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals, US Rowing, Concept 2, and The American Sport Education Program.

Andy owns Baxter Fitness Solutions for Fifty and Beyond which opened its second location in Medford in October, 2006. The first location at 310 Oak Street in Ashland opened in 2004.

His other company, Beyond 50 Fitness, produces senior-specific fitness videos: "Total Strength Workout" and "Osteo Stretch and Strength".

Andy is a 2003 US National, 2004 and 2007 Canadian National, and two time 2006 World Champion Master oarsman. Last year Andy and partner Steve Kiesling finished 4th in the world in the Men's A Pair Final, the fastest Americans that day.

His articles on senior fitness and rowing have been published internationally. From 2000 to 2006, Andy served as Director of Health and Fitness at Mountain Meadows Retirement Community in Ashland.
